I hold a Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy making me a UKCP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist.
I have over 20 years' experience working within a variety of healthcare, mental health and social care settings. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients in both short-term and long-term therapy, supporting people experiencing a wide range of emotional, psychological and relational difficulties.:
Alongside this, I have worked with people from a wide range of cultural, social and economic backgrounds who have sought support for a variety of issues, including:
This breadth of experience allows me to work sensitively with the diverse experiences and challenges that people bring to therapy, whilst also recognising the uniqueness of each person's story. As an integrative psychotherapist, I am particularly interested in how our early experiences, relationships, culture and social environment influence our sense of identity. I work with clients experiencing identity conflict, cultural dilemmas, low self-worth, life transitions and other experiences that can leave them feeling disconnected with themselves. My aim is to support you to integrate these experiences into a more authentic, stable and compassionate sense of self. I am also interested in exploring different neurotypes and supporting individuals with neurodivergence - I have recently undergone training in working with Autism and ADHD.
